The class above is perfectly structured. Tanya has described the activities from the very beginning (greeting) up to the end of the class and the explanation of the home assignment. I think it's a good method to combine different studying techniques in one and the same lesson. Freshmen are not yet used to the university class and it's duration, that is why it is better to include different kinds of activities. The role-play and creation of dialogues will be interesting for them and they will not get bored.
ОтветитьУдалитьGenerally the class and its activities are very professionally chosen and explained that is why I would put "5" for this work-out.
What I like the most is the video. I think that this is the best way to combine the listening and learning new words. The video is short and dynamic so it's not boring for students to watch it. As I wrote all types of memory are involved so it helps to learn new vocabulary easier. The only thing that can be done additionaly is to put the video exercise before the dialogue task in order to use the video as the example of native speech and put the new vocabulary section together. 5!
ОтветитьУдалитьThis blog-lesson has all necessary parts, use methods appropriate to age and proficiency level of the student. Next thing, I liked, is that Tanya used different kinds of activities and combined them successfully. Really, the dialogue was chosen perfectly. Very productive and useful video. I put "5".
ОтветитьУдалитьI can agree with Alina that this video is the best way to learn new words. then I also like the logic structure of this lesson. She involves pair work and student imagination. She can create the atmosphere of "role game", which is very important for students with worse level of English. I put her 5.
ОтветитьУдалитьGood dialog, would be nice to have some audio in addition to all this. Namesake, 5.
ОтветитьУдалитьI think, that having a video you will have no problem to take the audio. Can't say anything worse then "excellent".
Удалить5 points
Tanya, there are audio exercise))
ОтветитьУдалитьI also really enjoyed the video! This is the perfect way of learning the new words and actually to see how they look like! This lesson would be very useful for the students as they would be able to use this information in their life situations. Excellent work!
ОтветитьУдалитьAbsolutely agree with mentioned above!Lesson is planed well with up-to-ate, relevant information. Good dialogues, very interesting video. And what is really awesome it is not boring but vice versa is very intertaining!
ОтветитьУдалитьI think your work is great! It is well-planned, has a lot of different tasks and a lot of new words. Students have an opportunity to get some knowledges in ordering the food! Good job, 5 points!
ОтветитьУдалитьThe lesson-plan developed by Tanya is perfectly structured. She has described the activities from the very beginning up to the end of the class and the explanation of the home assignment.I like that you present vocabulary in life based situations. Students can study new words out of the context. Great plan. 5 points)))
